In 1990 Carter Communications moved it's operations to Southern Illinois and took on the new name of Wolf Technologies. Here, a move was made away from servicing and installation and efforts were then focused on contractual engineering and consulting services.
Also in 1990, Robert Carter began the process of obtaining licenses and certificates required to provide professional aerial services and training to the Southern Illinois region.
In 1999 Steelwater Solutions Corporation was formed, and officially incorporated in 2000, to focus exclusively on providing Advanced Aviation and Electronic Engineering services and training.
In 2006 Steelwater Solutions Corporation moved to it's current location outside of Anna, IL. Here, in the heart of Southern Illinois, plans are being made to provide an airstrip and auxillary facilities.
Today, Steelwater Solutions Corporation continues to be a provider of advanced aviation and electronic engineering products and services.
Robert Carter contributes as a Design Engineer for a group of Southern Illinois based companies that provide radio telemetry equipment for protecting clients at risk of wandering, sport dogs, and wildlife research:
